The aim of the ESL program is to integrate its students into the school's full curriculum as quickly as possible. All ESL students are immersed in the mainstream academic program from the first day, missing out only certain classes based on their ESL placement - as shown below. Please contact the grade level counselor for full details on your child's schedule.

  Grade 6-8  

ESL 1

ESL1 students take the same subjects as all the other students -with the exception of ESL which takes the place of mainstream English, humanities and French/Spanish or an elective. Information about the ESL1 program

 

ESL 2

ESL1 students take the same subjects as all the other students -with the exception of ESL which takes the place of French/Spanish or an elective. Information about the ESL2 program

 
     
  Grades 9-12  

Intermediate

The same subject choices as all the other students -with the exception of ESL which takes the place of mainstream English plus an elective. Information about the Intermediate program

 

Advanced

The same subject choices as all the other students -with the exception of ESL which takes the place of mainstream English.Information about the Advanced program

 

Transitional
